The Missing Link?

An exciting discovery has been made in Jordan and announced on Radio 4's Today Programme this morning. A collection of lead books has been found in caves close to the place where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in the 1940's. If this latest discovery does indeed turn out to be genuine, these books could be hugely important, not just to the history of Christianity, but to the History of the Book.
Perhaps they are a tangible link between the tablet and codex form.
